I’m an iPhone expert & there’s a little-known flight trick hidden in your camera
IPHONE users can use a nifty camera trick to check their flights for delays while travelling.
Tech vlogger BetimiTech has revealed the hack that removes some of the stress from air travel.
In a recent video, he showed users how to track their flights using a hack on their iPhones.
The video caption read: “You can see how long your trip will take and everything else”
In the 9-second clip, the tech vlogger started by taking a photo of his boarding pass.
He then zoomed in on the flight number in the picture before tapping it with his thumb.
As he tapped the number, a small black box appeared and he was given the option to “preview flight”.
After he clicked on preview flight, a real-time map of his flight appeared in another window on his iPhone.
As well as displaying departure and arrival times, users will be able to see information on flight delays.
Holidaymakers will also be able to check their terminal number and boarding gate as well as the baggage claim number at the end of the trip.
While not all the flights will appear, most major airlines support this feature on the iPhone.
The video has had more than 50,000 views with several users confirming that they’ve also successfully used the iPhone travel hack.
If you’ve got a holiday planned, that’s not the only airplane trick you need to know.
TikToker Katarina Mogus has revealed how she uses AirTags with an app on her phone.
The app tracks when your suitcase will appear on the conveyor belt at baggage reclaim – or if it’s still at your departure airport, if you’re unlucky.
Meanwhile, another genius iPhone travel hack turns your sickness bag into a free flying accessory.
