The founder of Free Temporary Email said: “Facebook is a resource-intensive app that can slow down your phone and drain its battery quickly.
“Deleting the app will free up storage space on your device and reduce the amount of data your phone uses.
“Additionally, it will help to improve your battery life and speed up your device.”
The expert isn’t the only one promoting this idea.
According to Uswitch, the Facebook and Facebook Messenger apps are two of the “biggest drains on our batteries.”
