A MECHANIC with 55 years experience has revealed a car hack that will repair your car for free and save you THOUSANDS.
Scotty Kilmer, with more than 5million subscribers on YouTube, says that as modern cars are run by computers, they are susceptible to glitches.

TikTok user @scottykilmerofficial opens the car’s bonnet and asks viewers: “What’s the first thing you do with your computer at home when it goes bad?”
“You turn it off and then turn it back on again. Then loosen the negative battery terminal, get a rag and pull it off.
“Then turn the headlights on. Of course, the headlights won’t come on, but that will drain any electricity out of the computer circuits.
“Then put it back on and tighten it up.”
The mechanic says that doing this will set it back to its factory settings and can actually fix minor problems in your motor.
He continued: “Sometimes fixing your car is that easy.”
The video has gone viral on TikTok – with more than 180,000 views and 1130 comments.
And users were blown away after discovering this free hack that could fix their cars.
