IIM Raipur hosts training programme for Vidhan Sabha secretariat staff – Times of India

In its endeavour to make its contribution towards the promotion of excellence and capacity building of existing and future leaders, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has collaboration with PRS Legislative Research on Management for secretariat staff and had organized three days training programme from July 18 to 20 for the Vidhan Sabha secretariat staff who came from different states of India.

As many as 26 participants have attended the programme from across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh in the fourth batch of training programme.
IIM Raipur director Professor Ram Kumar Kakani shared his valuable insights and programme vision during the inaugural ceremony. Programme director Professor Rashmi Shukla took sessions on time management, and team building among other sessions.

Chakshu Roy and his team from PRS took sessions on understanding the Budget, Effective support to legislators and best practices of state legislators, among other sessions. Professor Kamal K Jain, Mentor Dean shared his valuable insights during the program valedictory. Participants find the programme very interactive and useful to exchange notes building a community that could learn from each other even in the future.
