IIM Raipur Convocation on April 24, 273 students to be awarded degrees – Times of India

Raipur: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, which has been selected as one of the 15 institutes to represent India in hosting the prestigious Y20 events as part of India’s G20 Presidency, is all set to host its 12th annual convocation ceremony on April 24.
A total of 273 students will be awarded degrees, including 17 degrees to the PGP 2020-22 batch (IES), 233 degrees to the PGP 2021-23 batch, 21 degrees to the PGPMWE (OC) batch, and two degrees to the EFPM.
National Stock Exchange of India managing director & chief executive officer Ashish Kumar Chauhan will grace the occasion as the chief guest and he will deliver the convocation address while IIM Raipur Board of Governors chairperson Shyamala Gopinath will deliver the welcome address. Director of the institute Professor Ram Kumar Kakani will present the institute’s achievements.
This year, ten students were recommended for grants based on merit and means, and 22 students were selected for the international student exchange programme with partner institutions in Greece, France, Germany, Austria and Slovakia.
Professor Kakani said that the institute successfully hosted a Y20 event on campus, attended by 250 national and 50 international participants.
