IIM Jammu inks MOU with IE University, Spain to foster advancement in teaching – Times of India

Jammu Apr 27: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally renowned IE University, Spain.
“The collaboration aims to foster advancement in teaching, and cultural understanding, as well as the International Reputations of both Institutions through the exchange of postgraduate students, faculty members, and academic information and materials, joint Executive Education Programs and other academic exchanges.
The MoU was signed by Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, and Ms Maria-Eugenia Marin, Vice-Provost, Global Academic Partnerships and Alliances, IE University, Madrid, Spain.
Prof BS Sahay said inked Mou will be marked as a positive step toward absorbing the best practices in research and teaching from the best B-Schools in the world.
“India is a fast-growing economy; this collaboration is acting as a great opportunity for both the Institutes and countries, he added.
Sharing her views, Ms María-Eugenia Marín, Vice-Provost, Global Academic Partnerships and Alliances, IE University, Spain reiterated that the collaboration between IE University, Spain, and IIM Jammu is firmly grounded on a common vision of the role of higher education institutions in developing global leaders equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset, a holistic perspective of the world, and an understanding of the importance of a life-long learning journey.
