For many of us, chafing is an inevitable part of the summer months – but that’s not to say it should be downplayed.
It can be painful and embarrassing and we’d go as far as to say sometimes completely debilitating.
Chafing can happen to any of us and to any part of the body, but it’s most common in the thigh area, particularly in the summer months when we’re more likely to get a lil’ bit hot and sticky.
We’ve gotta say anti-chafing shorts change the game during sweaty summer months, and we’ve found a pair that comes so highly rated on Amazon, over 7,000 people have given them five stars.
The Yadifen Womens Safety Shorts (£16.99) are one of the site’s best sellers, with shoppers raving about the material and ability to blend into any outfit.
‘Very comfy and very stretchy,’ one impressed shopper wrote in a review. ‘You don’t know you are wearing them.’
‘This product is amazing! Very comfortable, soft, light and breathable, and great quality. Follow the size recommendations for the product, because what you usually wear in your clothing is not the same for this product,’ wrote another happy shopper.
And one wrote: ‘Excellent lightweight under shorts, 100% comfort and give confidence and comfort for under dresses. No more sore inner legs or chafing. An additional must for any wardrobe. Highly recommended.’
On the material, there did seem to be a divide on whether it rolled up.
One said: ‘These are good, non see through but lightweight. I wore under a dress on a very hot day & they stayed in place no rolling down or riding up, very comfortable.’
On the rolling side, one did note: ‘Good produce, bought a bigger size than I needed based on peoples reviews and they are actually slightly big on the leg. The legs are longer and stay in place but the waist does roll down almost immediately on putting them on. Overall though pretty happy with them.’
The Amazon website describes them as ‘squat-proof’ and passing the ‘bend-over test’ which, let’s be honest, is a solid scoring system in our eyes.
