The UK is home to many natural wonders and Wales is no exception. While most holidaymakers head to Snowdonia or the Brecon Beacons, there is another Welsh mountain range worth a visit.
Pistyll Rhaeadr is often considered to be one of the seven wonders of Wales, but it’s now been named as one of the seven wonders of the UK too.
Falling over a 240-foot cliff-face, Pistyll Rhaeadr is a natural wonder.
The falls are free to visit, but visitors will have to pay for parking.
There are a number of walks holidaymakers can attempt from the waterfall, whether to the top or further afield in the Berwyn Mountains.

On Tripadvisor, Ru Masters said: “Spectacular waterfall in a beautiful valley. Definitely worth walking to the top and taking in the views!
“Access to the waterfall is via a long and narrow lane that winds up the valley from the village, so take note of passing places, as you will likely need to stop several times.”

Jennette wrote: “I first visited these falls 30 years ago they were magnificent then as they are now.
“The waterfall itself is incredible! You spot it on the drive in and it looks majestic even from there. However, up close it’s something else.
“Just in awe of how big it is and how amazing it looks. Be prepared to get wet, as expected.
“You can also walk to the top of the waterfall, again very steep and expect to feel the burn in your legs. However, it is worth it!”
The UK Wonders were named by Merrell in partnership with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).
