I won a brand new Jaguar I-PACE worth £80k for just £20 but I’m selling it
A MAN who won a brand new Jaguar I-PACE worth £80,000 with a £20 ticket has said he plans to sell it.
Andrew Slocombe from Newport in Wales, scooped a brand-new Jaguar just 14 days after he started taking driving lessons.
He won the electric Jaguar I-PACE in an Omaze Million Pound House Superdraw.
Andrew, who works as a store manager at Marks & Spencer, is “thrilled” with his new car, despite not having a driving licence.
Luckily, he started his driving lessons two weeks before winning the luxury car.
Teenage Cancer Trust has partnered with Omaze for their latest house draw.
Andrews middle child called Luc, 22, was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer a couple of days before his 21st birthday in April 2021.
Andrew says that every time he has the chance to help the Teenage Cancer Trust, he does, because the charity supported his family through such a difficult time.
Speaking to Teesside Live, Andrew said: ”The car is absolutely fantastic, I’ve only just started driving lessons as I lived in London from 18 to 30, so never had to learn.
“I started a couple of weeks ago just to prove to my sons I could pass my test.

“As lovely as the car is – I will probably sell it and buy a clapped-out old banger to get around in.
“The money I’ll get from selling it will pay off my mortgage and help pay for Luc’s upcoming wedding.”
Andrew revealed that he entered the Omaze Million Pound House Superdraw the day after his father had passed away – he was outside the hospital and saw it on his phone.
Happily, two weeks ago, Luc’s consultants were happy to report no signs of his cancer returning.
