I was struggling on Universal Credit – now I make £10,000 a MONTH
A WOMAN who used to struggle on Universal Credit but now makes £10,000 a month from modelling has revealed how she spent her money.
Amber O’Donnell, 24, was surviving on packets of budget pasta as she got by on £500 a month during the pandemic, but her income skyrocketed after she set up a profile on OnlyFans in 2020.
Amber, from Sheffield, Yorkshire made the £500 she would have got from benefits in just her first couple of weeks on the X-rated platform.
However, rather than splurge on luxuries she couldn’t previously afford, she kindly used her first big paycheck to buy supplies for her local food bank to help low-income families.
Alongside her partner Chris, a construction worker, Amber donated food, toiletries and feminine hygiene products from a huge trip to Tesco.
She still makes regular anonymous donations to a range of charities and says she was inspired to use her newfound wealth for good by Man Utd star Marcus Rashford.

That’s not to say that Amber doesn’t allow herself some luxuries, including renting her £1,000 a month dream home and buying a £10,000 Nissan Figaro, which she has wanted for years.
Discussing the radical change in her life, she said: “I wasn’t eligible for furlough payments when the pandemic hit, so I was only getting £500 per month to live on.
“For me, it’s important to remember where you come from. As I come from a low-income family, it’s important for me to be in a position to give to people.
“I get comments saying I’m selfish because of what I do, but it’s just not true. I love helping others, it’s so rewarding.”
Amber earns her money driving subscribers wild with her inventive cosplay looks, including her speciality: Velma from Scooby Doo.
She was due to study at the University of Sheffield and worked part-time at Starbucks before the pandemic, but hasn’t looked back since staring up her racy page.
She added: “I know so many people who do OnlyFans and are so giving and generous.
“There’s such a stigma, people don’t treat you like a human being, and they talk to you like scum. People should be more open-minded about it
“I make a lot of anonymous donations to various GoFundMe sites and charities.
“I’ve got around 10 direct debits that go out each month to children’s hospitals, charities and the air ambulance. It’s really important for me to spread my earnings as well as keep some aside for my family.”
Going forward, she plans to keep donating as much as she can to charity, while also investing in property to secure her future.
Her aim is to renovate homes to use as Airbnbs as well as to live in with her family.

She concluded: “The more I earn the more I’m able to give. I’m always the first to be donating, and I pride myself on that.
“People can shame me for my job, but I know that I’m a kind, supporting person.”
