I was furious when every single sunbed was reserved – but nobody was on them
A HOLIDAYMAKER was left fuming after every chair at her resort was reserved – with no sign of other vacationers.
Emma shared the irritating instance on her TikTok, with all of her followers suggesting she simply move the towels.
She said: “When you can’t get a sunbed first thing in the morning, but no one is on them!”
Footage showed the pool side loungers covered in towels, with only three people sitting by the pool in the early morning sun.
Photos of the resort, Sol Palmanova Majorca, reveal a luxurious pool with plenty of sunbeds – but the reality was ruined after selfish vacationers hogged the sunbeds.
One follower suggested: “I just took the towels off this year. When they questioned me, I pointed to the sign saying you can’t reserve beds.”
A cheeky follower quipped: “Put them in pool for a wash.”
Emma complained: “There’s literally a sign on the door to the pool area that says it’s not allowed and that the towels will be taken off. yet they do nothing!”
Another viewer of the video said they saw desperate holidaymakers reserving their sunbeds with flashlights at 4am.
This Brit woman shared her horror holiday after “crazy British tourists” hogged sunbeds for an entire week.
Lisa Green told TikTok how her holiday was ruined when UK guests arrived at her hotel and began reserving sun beds at the crack of dawn.
In the video, the furious holidaymaker described how Brits took all the fun out of her holiday with their daily early morning dash to claim a sun lounger.
She first shows off how relaxing and carefree her holiday was when the resort was full of mainland Europeans, rather than Brits.
“When you are in a hotel with Europeans, 10am sunbeds still left,” she writes.
She pans the camera around to show the paradise of rows and rows of deckchairs still empty by mid-morning.
Sadly for Lisa, all of that changed when “the Brits arrived”.
She then shows a series of photos of the sunbeds early in the morning – still empty – but now all reserved by an assortment of towels.
“7.30am sunbeds reserved, this goes on for a week,” she despairs, adding angry faces.
“It’s the Brits who are the crazy sunbed hoggers,” Lisa declares.
There has been a fast growing trend of tourists getting up earlier and earlier in order to put their towels down in a race to bag a prime poolside spot.
And yet, it only works to multiply the sunbed-bagging mania.
