‘I was born with two penises – my ex was obsessed with it’

Tank was born with two penises, a condition some might think was a benefit. However, he has explained how in reality it comes with a number of issues.

Diphallia, a genetic abnormality affecting a small number of individuals, has brought both pleasure and pain to Tank’s life. According to the National Institutes of Health, diphallia is an incredibly rare condition, estimated to affect fewer than 1,000 men and boys in the United States.

Tank, embracing his uniqueness, initially found ways to make the most of his condition, which some of his ex-partners loved.

However, the pain it caused some of his partners eventually led him to make a difficult decision – to undergo surgery and remove his extra appendage.

Tank explained all in an interview with the popular YouTube show Soft White Underbelly. At the age of 12, he found himself in a juvenile detention center, having been convicted of manslaughter.

It wasn’t until he was released at the age of 24 that he experienced his first sexual encounter. 

He said: “Women didn’t believe it when I told them I had two d***s, but then I took them to the room, they’d see.”

Tank explained that he can ejaculate from both penises simultaneously, even if only one was being stimulated. He said: “When I was penetrating a woman, I would get a feeling, but one [of my penises] is like at the side and feels like it’s gonna blow up.”

Some women enjoyed his unique anatomy, with one partner becoming particularly enamored with it.

After their breakup, she moved on to exploring threesomes, as a single penis could no longer satisfy her desires. Tank said: “She wanted to be a p**n star, and she wanted us to do a video together. I probably would have made a lot of money…”

Despite the pleasure his additional member brought to some partners, it also posed challenges in the bedroom. Tank admitted that it was difficult to engage in sexual activities using only one of his penises at a time. Attempting to use both proved to be painful for many of his romantic partners.

“I decided to get the surgery,” Tank shared, reflecting on his choice. “It would hurt some women.”

Although Tank underwent surgery to remove his extra member, he discovered that he was not the only one in his family with an unusual pubic region. His uncle was also born with diphallia.

Diphallia, as explained by the National Institutes of Health’s Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center, can range from the duplication of the glans to having two fully-fledged penises. Since the first recorded case in 1609, approximately 100 instances have been reported.
