I turned tables on hypocrite cop who pulled me over – his reaction is priceless

A CHEEKY motorist turned the tables on a “hypocrite” cop after he was pulled over.

Theo Glibo was stopped at a service station in Largs Bay, Australia, for having a blue light attached to the front of his motorbike.

But in a series of now-viral TikTok videos, the 24-year-old tried to argue his way out of a ticket by pointing out the police patrol car had an issue with its right tyre.

In one of the clips, he can be heard saying: “I’m copping a defect and this cop has a bald tyre and he’s not even gonna defect his own car.”

The officer responded: “I’m not going to put a sticker on it for something that’s going to be dealt with tomorrow.”

But the driver was not happy with the cop’s excuse, probing: “Why not?

“That’s what you’re doing with mine, you’re a hypocrite.”

In a further clip, Theo once again questioned the cop.

He said: “If this was anybody else’s tyre, you’d defect it. Where’s the wear bar on that?”

The officer gave in and agreed with the motorcyclist, and said the tyre would be dealt with.

He said: “You’re absolutely right, so I will defect that when I get back to my office.”

South Australia Police have confirmed the police car’s bald tyre has been “addressed” after the videos racked up 1.5 million and 1.6 million views respectively, reports new.com.au.

A spokesperson said: “South Australia Police are aware of the social media post relating to an interaction between a SAPOL employee and a member of the public where the police vehicle was identified to have a bald tyre.”

“SAPOL have taken steps to address this matter.”

In Australia, only emergency vehicles can have blue lights – but Theo claimed one was already on the bike when he bought it.

He asked whether he could simply buy tape to cover it up, but was told this is not allowed.

In another TikTok clip, he said the defect ended up costing him £36.
