I spent £60k on a brand new Tesla – it’s the worst car EVER, here’s why

A DRIVER who bought a brand new £60k Tesla has slammed the vehicle as the “worst car to buy”.

After purchasing his first motor, the man fumed that the “body panels didn’t quite match up” – posing the first of many red flags.

TikTok user haydenbowlesshorts said his experience went from bad to worst when the electric car began to shut down.

He said: “I start driving the car and put a few thousand miles on it.

“Then I get stranded on the side of the road twice because my battery is dying super fast”.

To rub salt in the wounds, the influencer then described the shoddy customer service he received after taking the motor in for repair.

He continued: “So I bring it in for service and the guys were complete a**holes.

“They wouldn’t fix the car even though they admitted there was a problem.

“So I sold the car.”

It’s not the first time the US automaker has courted criticism from disgruntled motorists.

One driver who bought a £100k Tesla Model S claims it looks like it was built by a group of toddlers.

He also revealed the rubber trim around the door frame was peeling away, and the plastic trim near the taillights wasn’t flush with the body of the car.

Similarly, a motorist described the company’s appaling customer service in a Reddit-published tirade.
