I spent £100k on my new Tesla and I hate it – the steering wheel is horrible
A MAN who spent £100k on a new Tesla says there are things he absolutely hates about his luxury electric car.
Hunter Woodhall took to social media to explain the changes he would make to his Tesla.
TikTok user @hunterwooodhall owns a Tesla Model S plaid which costs around £115,000 and has a range of about 345 miles.
Hunter said: “The first thing I hate is the quality control and panel gaps. The panel gaps are so big that you can actually see the inside of the car.”
The Tesla owner says that when he drives his car, he accidentally hits random buttons on the steering wheel due to its poor design.
“When I try to do anything like a u-turn it’s practically impossible.
He then goes on to outline why the key doesn’t even work, and that it’s impossible to open the front boot.
“I’m going to go on the app, press it, and the boot doesn’t automatically open, and the car gets fingerprints everywhere which is not cool.”
Tesla says that to open the front boot drivers can either use the ‘open’ icon on the touchscreen, double-click the front boot button on the key fob or touch the front boot button on the mobile app.
The video has gone viral on social media, with more than 369,000 views and 90 comments.
And users were quick to comment below.
One said: “Why did you buy it then.”
Another said: “Teslas are not as nice as people think.”
The poster replied: “Disagree, but they do have some things to work on.”
A third pointed out: “Stop complaining; everything is easy and beautiful in that car.”
This comes after a driver who bought a £100,000 Tesla revealed the five things he hates about his electric car.
