The disgruntled customer took a video of the 23-plate Tesla and posted it to his TikTok account @leasingplus.

The video shows the luxury black motor parked on the drive with scratches, dirty wheels and a dusty exterior.

He said: “This is what to expect when you get your Tesla delivered.”

He walked around the outside of the car that he said was “just absolutely filthy”.

Scratches could be seen on the side of the dull-looking car, and he also pointed out a damaged hub cap that he said was due to the “strap on the trailer”.

The disappointed customer then drew a V sign in the dust on the rear screen to show viewers how grimy the car was.

He finished the video off by declaring that the condition of the car was “absolutely poor”.

And added: “Time to up your game Tesla, this is just not good enough.”

The video attracted almost 3k views and 800 comments, with people quick to share their comments about the car and the brand.

One person said: “Rule #1 Don’t get a Tesla”.

To which @leasingplus replied: “We love Teslas. The reality is after a quick clean, this became a stunning car.”

And another commented: “It’s the time of the year when roads are dirty. It would look like that if you drove it home yourself from the dealership.”

@leasingplus replied to the comment saying: “It was a beautiful day and the car was delivered on a trailer from an hour away.”

Another TikToker said: “Understand the damage but how you expecting a car not to get dirty in transit is beyond me.”

The leasing company hit back, saying: “Have a look at the bonnet and rear screen. It’s not road dirt, it left the compound like that.”

On another occasion, a driver who bought a £100k Tesla Model S claimed that it “looked like it was built by a group of toddlers”.

The furious owner discovered a number of quality issues with the luxury motor, and regretted purchasing the car.

A car expert also revealed his reasons why he would never buy a Tesla, claiming that they are “just not reliable enough” for him.
