‘I met my fiancé on OnlyFans – I’m fine with her making raunchy videos with men’
Koby Wilde, 26, and Heath Ovens, 43, are tying the knot after meeting on sex subscription site OnlyFans – despite living nearly 7,500 miles apart. Koby – her stage name – says Heath, a military veteran from Washington, is supportive of her work and doesn’t treat her like a “sex object”.
The pair first hit it off online and, after meeting in person, realised their connection was just as genuine in real life. They plan to create content together after getting hitched, she said – while she continues solo work.
Koby, from the Gold Coast, Australia, said of the relationship: “It just felt right from the start. We just wanted to keep contacting each other, and we messaged all the time.
“When we met in person for the first time it was a classic movie moment – a guy picks up a girl and they kiss. It was perfect. He had followed me for ages and had never been creepy or sleazy.
“When he messaged me it was clear he was being genuine and compassionate. He wasn’t asking for content or treating me like a sex object. He just always seemed like a kind guy who was there and offered advice. That’s a rare find in my job.”
Heath followed Koby on Instagram for two years, then became a subscriber on her OnlyFans page 18 months ago. She noticed him liking her posts but thought nothing more of it – until he sent a supportive message.
Koby had posted about unrequited love in December 2022 and Heath’s response “blew her away”. Messages started flying between them, and they had their first phone call just five days later.
Soon they were chatting on the phone at least twice a day – despite the time difference. They were saying “I love you” by March, and making plans to meet.
Koby finally made the 15-hour plane journey to Washington on May 31, where a delighted Heath was waiting with armfuls of roses. The couple had discussed marriage but she certainly wasn’t expecting what followed on June 11.
Koby says Heath came home from shopping and asked her to collect something from the front seat of the car. She then heard a special song playing as she approached and saw a ring box on the seat – and Heath popped the question.
Koby said “yes” and the pair plan to get married in January. The couple will then have a second ceremony in Las Vegas, one in Washington for Heath’s friends and family, and finally one more in Australia for her loved ones.
The couple plan to live together with Koby’s son, who Heath will also make vows to at their final wedding celebration, in Australia.
She said: “Our relationship just progressed, fast and intense, but mutual. He was supportive, encouraging, and interested in me personally.
“It was obvious from the beginning that we both had strong and genuine feelings for each other. I feel even more loved that he found me through my work, it shows that he fully supports me. I love my work and I wouldn’t be able to be with someone who didn’t fully support me to do it.”
Koby says the couple plan to make OnlyFans content together – and aren’t against including others. She said: “I hope we can make a living doing this together. I just tell him if I’m making a video with other guys and he’s fine with that.
“It’s all about communication – our relationship is open. If he met a girl he liked it would be okay for him to explore that.
“Hopefully she and I would like each other and we could be a three, or otherwise maybe we’d be great friends who happen to share the same guy. It’s all fine so long as we’re communicating and there are no secrets.”
Heath said of the relationship: “I never in a million years would have expected this to happen. It just feels very extraordinary. I’m often lost for words when I talk about her – she just puts such a big smile on my face when we chat. Of course, I was very attracted to her looks.
“But I also love her wonderfully dark sense of humor, which I could see in her posts. I just really vibed with that – I would just die laughing at things she wrote.
“I feel like we’re really similar – at some point, you’ve just got to laugh no matter how bad things get.
“When we started talking it just confirmed everything I’d liked about her, and it quickly became love. It just feels like we’re meant to be together.
“Just seeing her walk through the doors at the airport was the most moving emotional experience. I still tear up when I think about it.
“It was just amazing, and from the moment I ran to her, picked her up, and hugged her, there hasn’t been even a second of awkwardness.”
