A woman who makes a living selling personal items has revealed she can net up to £80 simply by burping in a bag.
Rebekka Blue flogs everything from toenail clippings to used makeup wipes online, earning thousands every month from bespoke orders.
Having previously worked as a stripper, she began selling used underwear and socks to make some extra cash.
However, more niche requests began coming in from clients, and bagged burps are growing in popularity.
Influencer Rebekka charges $50 (£40.17) per burp, but some customers order multiple at once, meaning she makes up to $100 (£80) each time.
‘I’ve been creating burp content [videos]since I started in the social media industry, but it wasn’t until 2022 that burps in a bag were requested,’ she said.
‘It certainly is a rare request, and I charge $50 a burp, but you can order as many as you want.’
To prepare for these lucrative belches, the influencer – who has 356,000 followers on TikTok – downs fizzy drinks and eats smelly foods to ensure there’s a scent left behind.
Rebekka explained: ‘Diet Dr Pepper is my ideal choice – I’ve tried all sodas and this one acts the fastest.
‘I eat a full meal that has some sort of onion in it, very fast, chug water, and chase with the soda. It can be taxing on my body which is why I price accordingly.
‘And if the burps aren’t as pungent that day, I swallow as much air as I can, as fast as I can.’
In a recent social media video, she showed the process of forcing her body to produce gas. Rebekka grabs a sandwich bag as she gulps down the pop, before burping into the receptacle and sniffing the contents for quality assurance. She then sends them off to be enjoyed by the purchaser.
The clip, which was captioned ‘I got paid $100 to burp in a bag today,’ gathered over 3.7 million views, 360,000 likes and thousands of comments.
‘Where can I sign up,’ wrote one commenter, while another said: ‘This is insane.’
‘So… instead of making food all day… I could be doing this?!?!?! I’m in!! Tell me more,’ added a third fan.
Rebekka also offers videos of her burps, which her customers ‘worship’.
She said: ‘My customers are ecstatic and satisfied that I offer a service to fulfil their fantasy.
‘The bigger and longer your burps are, the more money you can make with burp content.
‘Each customer has different requests, and with video content, they can ask if they want you to act impressed or grossed out by the burps. Some even request you to rub your tummy at the same time!’
Despite the unconventional nature of her job, Rebekka says she loves celebrating her big sales and revealing the variety of requests she receives.
‘I am proud to have a platform to share my success and inspire women to use their talents,’ she added.
