I found a classic Ford inside a barn – now I’m set to sell it for a fortune
AN INCREDIBLE classic 1965 Ford Mustang has gone up for auction – and is set to sell for an eye-watering sum.
The classic motor boasts just two previous owners and has been kept in “excellent condition”.
In the late 1960s, the vehicle’s engine was modified from the original 289ci to a “monstrous” 351ci V8.
The car’s seats have no signs of damage or rips – with the stitching completely intact and the folding function of the front seats as expected.
Both front door cards remain in excellently kept condition with the brightwork also well maintained.
The iconic Mustang had sat idle in a dusty barn for nearly three decades.

Despite its lengthy inactivity, all of the vehicle’s documentation has been well preserved.
Eight bids have been submitted for the swanky vehicle.
A similar Ford Mustang model recently raked in nearly £47,000 when it went under the hammer.
However, punters have until 8.55pm on July 10 to stake their claim to be the motor’s next owner.
Car and Classic commented: “These cars have aged like fine wine – a reminder of time gone by and what we very rarely get to see in the present day.
“Excellently designed, oozing class, and absolutely littered in brightwork trim.
“They don’t make ‘em like they used to.
“This is a handsome and honest example of some proper American Muscle.
“Not only do they make outstanding drivers cars but also make for an amazing investment as the prices have risen steadily over the years.
“Whether this be a collection piece or an outrageously fun weekend warrior, your money won’t be wasted here.
“Find out why the Mustang has long been regarded as the muscle car king.”
It comes after a classic Ford Escort RS Cosworth believed to be ‘lost’ for the past 31 years has been rediscovered and is up for sale at an eye-watering amount.
Elsewhere, a pristine 1970 Ford Escort is expected to fetch a large sum at auction – and it even has a surprise royal connection.
