I filmed tourists reserving loungers for whole WEEK in worst pool war I’ve seen

THE battle to find the perfect sunbathing spot on vacation can be tense, but one woman has shared how guests at her hotel took things too far.

Taking to TikTok, Gillian shared the “ridiculous” people at her resort in Majorca who reserved an entire row of sunbeds – for an entire week.

She said: “It’s 7’o clock at night, and these people reserve their sunbeds for the whole week. They don’t move them.”

Gillian filmed from her balcony and showed an entire row of beach chairs by the pool already filled with towels.

She continued: “They lie there so you can’t get a sunbed.

“It is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.”

The video has gone viral online, and others have shared their thoughts about those who reserve sunbeds.

One said: “Throw all the towels in the sea. Then you can have any sunbed you want!”

Another said: “That’s hotel managements fault they should have a no reserving policy and have someone remove them before a certain time like 9am.”

Another said: “I would get up in the morning. Keep an eye and if nobody returns to there beds with half hour and bags etc aren’t there I’d remove towel myself.”

In Lanzarote, holidaymakers have also been hogging sunbeds, leaving a woman fuming.

In a video on TikTok, holidaymaker Sophie (@sophieannmc) revealed how most of the sunbeds at her hotel were reserved by other guests.

As she panned around the pools, she revealed how the loungers were reserved with towels, bottles of suncream and books – even though a sign banned guests from reserving the beds.

In the caption, Sophie explained that she’d spent over half an hour hunting down a sunbed without a towel.

She wrote: “Is this not the most frustrating thing ever when you’re on holiday?

“It took us over 30 minutes to find two beds across four pools. They were all empty but reserved with a towel.

“One family saved six beds and then went to the beach!”

In the comments Sophie explained that she used the sunbed for two and a half hours and in that time she watched other holidaymakers struggle to find an unreserved lounger.
