Hundreds of users report issues with Google Ads

HUNDREDS of Google Ads users have reported issues with the website this morning.

There were over 500 reports of an outage on the platform via Downdetector by 9.50am EST.

Users are also reporting an ‘error 500’ code at login.

The Google Ads Status Dashboard has announced that they are “investigating reports” in regard to the issues users are experiencing.

“We’re investigating reports of an issue with Google Ads,” they wrote.

“We will provide more information shortly. The affected users are unable to access Google Ads.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Google for comment but have received no word back as of the time of reading.

However, several users have taken to Downdetector to report that Google Ads is “back up” in their area as of around 10.30am EST.

    The tweet is flooded with comments confirming that there are issues.

    Upon login in to Google Ads, users will be faced with a screen that reads: “500. That’s an error.

    “There was an error. Please try again later. That’s all we know.”

    People have taken to the Downdetector comment section to share their problems with the Google Ads website.

    One person commented: “Google Ads down. 500 error (and that’s all they know, lol) grr.”

  • Midwest and New York report most issues

    Downdetector has published a heat map showing where issues reported by users are concentrated over the past 24 hours.

    It is common for some problems to be reported throughout the day, according to the site, but there have been over 555 issues reported as of 9.50am EST.

    The website says: “Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.”

    Most of these reports are coming from the New York area and the Midwest.

    Meanwhile, others are reporting issues with Search (30 percent) and login (14 percent).
