Huge savings on Florida holidays with deals from under £500pp

THERE are some fantastic bargains on last minute holidays to Florida at the moment, especially for hotels near Disney World and Universal Orlando.

But even if you’re not visiting the theme parks, it should still be warm and sunny and there will be plenty to do.

Thomas Cook had one of the best deals around.

For a 7-night break at the 3* Days Inn by Wyndham at Orlando Convention Center, departing June 7 from Manchester, prices start from just £474pp.

The location is close to all the theme parks and the hotel has a huge outdoor pool.

Tui also offers lots of deals to Florida, including a 7-night break coming in at £532pp, when departing on May 19.

As part of the deal, you’ll stay at the 3* Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista in Orlando on a room-only basis and flights from Birmingham are included.

The hotel has two outdoor pools as well as a restaurant and snack bar. For those visiting the theme parks, it offers a free shuttle service.

While the price is based on two adults sharing, you may be able to save even more by booking as a group as the rooms have space for up to four people.

You could also stay at the 4* Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando for £640pp when departing from London Gatwick on May 13.

The 7-night stay is on a room-only basis but there are four restaurants on site as well as a spa, fitness centre and golf course.

It’s a little further from the action but there are still free shuttles to all the main theme parks.

Meanwhile, British airways Holidays has a fly and drive Tampa break from £759pp.

The trip is for seven nights, travelling 1 June – 30 June 22 and it includes economy (World Traveller) return flights from London Gatwick Airport, 23kg luggage allowance and a Compact category car.
