How you can holiday like the A-list on a superyacht – for less than £70pp
YOU might think that a holiday on a superyacht is far beyond any normal person’s budget.
However, there is a place in the UK where guests can book a night on a luxury boat for less than £70pp.
The Sunborn London Yacht Hotel has stays for two people, including breakfast, from £139 per night, and it’s the only superyacht in the UK where you can spend the night.
It has 138 rooms and suites as well as a restaurant, bar, outdoor terrace and event space.
It can be hired for conferences or even weddings, for those who fancy saying their vows on water.
Guests can make themselves at home in a spacious classic double room, including a seating area, a modern en-suite and a large picture window.
However, there is also the opportunity to upgrade to an executive room with a private balcony, including either a dock or a river view room.
The yacht claims to “boast the finest views, the finest atmosphere and the finest services” on board for guests.
The deal, available from Wowcher, allows guests to check-in for one night, in either the classic or executive rooms.
The classic rooms feature “sumptuous” beds, a luxurious shower room, seating area, large picture window, and home-from-home modern essentials.
The executive rooms have the same luxuries, with the addition of a private balcony from which guests can enjoy the views of either the dock or the river.
Guests will then have an English breakfast the night after their stay before checking out.
The four star yacht hotel is situated in London Docklands, where visitors can ride the Emirates Air Line, explore Greenwich’s museums and London’s only planetarium, among many other attracctions.
Although they’re also only a tube ride away from the rest of London.
The deals are available now and will be valid for stays on select dates until October 31 this year.
Sun Online Travel stayed on the yacht last year and raved about the on board restaurant, Land’s End.
The juicy scallops with pea puree and pancetta impressed, as did the the incredibly rich lobster tagliatelle.
Desserts were equally as delicious with the chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream and the panna cotta and strawberries both high on the list of favourite dishes.
Meanwhile, anyone really wanting to splash the cash can hire the most expensive superyacht in the world for whopping £3million a week.
And here is what you can expect from the widest superyacht in the world – costing £418million with two helipads and a six-car garage.
