Let’s face it, mince pies are essential to Christmas festivities. It’s not really the festive season until you’ve gobbled one up.

And this year, you can treat yourself to a mince pie while helping the homeless with Poster Bakes and homeless charity The Connection at St Martin’s.

To do something extra special this Christmas, head chef Craig Robbins, from Poster Bakes, is making up his very popular Mail Order Mince Pie Kits.

These well-loved kits fit through your letterbox and come with the ingredients to make 10-12 mince pies in your own home – and they’re suitable for vegans, too.

Only for 2022, they also help raise money for the homeless.

This year has already been extremely tough for homeless individuals. The Connection says they have seen an 89% rise in people coming to its centre – and this winter will be all the more difficult.

By purchasing from Poster Bakes, you can get mince pies for your family, for the homeless, and raise money to help people off the streets this Christmas.

‘To you it might be a mince pie, but to people on the streets this winter it’s an offer of support and a chance to move forwards,’ head chef Craig said.

‘All of the profits go right into the heart of the work at The Connection helping people off the streets and towards a place to call home.’

The Cinnamon Crumble Mince Pie kits can be pre-ordered now through the Poster Bakes website for £12 per kit .
