How to tell if someone blocked you on Snapchat after the new update
SO, you think you’ve been blocked on Snapchat but want some clues before you jump to any potentially far-reached conclusions?
Well, luckily there are a few tell tale signs you have been blocked to help inform your next move.
But remember: you may have been blocked for a reason.
It’s important to evaluate your own behaviour before attempting to reach out to the person who may have blocked you via alternative routes.
You must also never harass someone who has blocked you.
You may be feeling sour over the experience, but it’s always best to move on.
How do you tell if you have been blocked on Snapchat?
If a person blocks you, you won’t be able to view your Story, or send you Snaps and Chats.
The most obvious way to find out if someone has blocked you is if they suddenly disappear from your Snapchat friends list.
By blocking you, they’ll disappear from your app completely, so it’s a quick way to check if you’ve been blocked.
You can also try searching the person’s Snapchat username in your Snapchat app search bar.
If their profile doesn’t appear, it probably means they’ve blocked you.
What is the difference between Blocked and Unadded on Snapchat?
With Snapchat’s Blocked feature, users can cut off all the connections and contact.
But if you have been removed or Unadded, you can still see the profile of that user and get to have access to your saved conversations.
How to know if someone blocked you on Snapchat or deleted their account?
While it might mean you have been blocked if the person in question’s profile doesn’t appear in your Snapchat search – there is one exception: they have deleted their account.
If that’s happened, it could appear like they’ve blocked you, but they might not have.
An easy way to check is by searching the person’s username on another person’s Snapchat app.
If the person appears on their app but not yours, it almost certainly means you’ve been blocked.
