How to score a free Macca’s burger

Macca’s lovers can snag a popular burger for nothing.

Yep, you read that right. The fan favourite Quarter Pounder is being given away for free on Deliveroo for one day only.

On August 3, McDonald’s fans can score their free Quarter Pounder with any order over $25 after 10.30am.

The iconic burger, which retails on average for $6.70 across the country, is made up of a quarter-pound of 100 per cent Aussie beef, classic cheese, onions, tangy mustard and pickles.

“We’re excited to partner with McDonald’s so that our burger-loving customers can enjoy the iconic Quarter Pounder on us this Wednesday,” Jodi Ingham, Commercial Director at Deliveroo, said.

She added that the delivery platform were “spreading some extra Macca’s love” by offering a 25c delivery.

This applies to all orders over $12 placed between August 3 and August 14.

To snag the free Quarter Pounder, customers need to add the burger to their order and then enter the special code ‘MACCASQP’ prior to checkout.

The discount is automatically applied to all orders, making your burger free of charger.

It comes as Macca’s announced a few lucky people will get a rare peek behind the scenes at McDonald’s HQ, tasting not-yet-released menu items and grabbing some exclusive swag in a new competition.

Ten lucky winners will get the chance to be the first to try new products, as well as fan favourites that are no longer available and access merchandise from the fast-food giant.

To enter, all people have to do is post their best influencer impression while unboxing their McDelivery to TikTok between 12.01am July 26 and 11.59pm August 7 with the hashtag #maccasnightinfluencer as well as tagging @mcdonaldsau plus three friends they’d like to enjoy a winter night in with.
