Fancy a burger for a quid? Of course you do.

For the first time, Burger King is launching ‘chicken royale day’, in celebration of its famous burger.

Tomorrow only, people can buy the burger for just £1 in restaurants nationwide, via the app.

Make it a quick lunch or cheeky dinner with the family, for a huge saving.

And if you can’t get out, anyone ordering on Uber Eats needs to spend £20 to get one for free added to the order.

As well as the chicken version, there’s a vegan alternative up for grabs too.

For the chicken royale, it comes with chicken breast – or meat substitute – wrapped in a crispy coating, then topped with lettuce and mayo, all sat in a sesame seed bun.

When we tasted them side by side, the regular mayo versus the vegan version of mayo were identical – we couldn’t tell them apart. The patties were noticeably different, however.

If you’re lucky, you might get a crown with your burger, as limited edition ones will be available in restaurants on Wednesday (June 7).

And if you can’t get one this week for a £1, it’s still worth downloading the app, as a large Chicken Royale meal gets reduced by £3.50, making it £5.99 in total, all of the time.

The app is available from Google Play or the App Store.
