Templegate’s tips
5.45 Natchez Trace
Goes well here and first-time blinkers can help.
6.15 Tequilamockingbird
Regular winner who is best over this distance.
6.45 Secret Army
Much improved when scoring at Chelmsford latest.
7.15 Street Kid
Good comeback second after eight months off last time.
7.45 Ava Go Joe
Good effort over course and distance last time out.
8.15 New Hope Bullet
Won in stewards’ room last time but a danger again.
8.45 Soul Seeker
Going well on turf and big chance if handling this surface.
Fantasy picks
Team
Chappers can do no wrong with his London and The South and tonight looks like being the perfect time to extend their lead.
The Sun Racing columnist warned rivals he was taking this very seriously and, fair play, his selections have been there or thereabouts throughout.
Except similar tonight with a strong book of runners, almost all of which are near the head of the markets.
Jockeys
Daniel Muscutt
Ray Dawson
It always pays to back jockeys not just with some good chances – but a LOT of them.
That’s the case for in-form Muscutt and Dawson, who both have a full book of seven rides tonight.
Horses
Prydwen (5.45) finished like a train last time out and will surely appreciate an extra furlong after motoring home late on.
It could be a good start for The East as Tequilamockingbird (6.15) can keep improving on artificial surfaces to land the second.
City Runner (6.45) could be a rare success for Team Ireland after being put in off the same mark for which he was runner up in a stronger race last time out.
Street Kid (7.15) could really hit full stride after a narrow loss at Lingfield a month ago on the back of a long layoff.
Watchya (7.45) is up in the weights now but is 2-2 on all weather. Badri looks a danger.
Thunderball (8.15) can be the jackpot king being 3lb well in and on just second run in a handicap.
Show Me Show Me (8.45) can defy a 3lb rise after winning an absolute thriller last time out, showing real grit to prevail in a head-bobber.
