Horizon: Forbidden West India Physical Release Price, Pre-Order Bonus Revealed

In the run up to the Horizon: Forbidden West release date of February 18, 2022, Sony has finally made the game available for pre-order at local retail. The physical edition of Horizon: Forbidden West can be pre-ordered at your retailer of choice from today. Expect links to be up on the likes of Amazon and Flipkart soon enough. The Horizon: Forbidden West India price is Rs. 3,999 on disc for PS4 and Rs. 4,999 for the PS5 version on disc. There’s a pre-order bonus too in the form of the Nora Legacy Outfit.

Horizon Forbidden West Special, Collector’s, and Regalla Edition India Release Date and Price

IGN India has reached out to Sony for comment regarding the availability of these versions of Horizon: Forbidden West and will update this story if we hear from the company. That said, given Sony’s past actions, it’s safe to say that at the very least India should get the Horizon: Forbidden West Special Edition of the game given that it isn’t as bulky to import, as we saw with Death Stranding which had its Special Edition make it to the country despite Sony testing the waters with the Collector’s Edition, asking retail to gauge interest on its behalf before cancelling it altogether.

However with The Last of Us Part 2, all variants made it here barring the top most tiered Ellie Edition so it is possible that we could see the Collector’s Edition make it here even if the Regalla does not.

Going back further though, God of War saw India receive all versions including the special edition PS4 Pro while Spider-Man received similar treatment barring the Special Edition version of the game due to unforeseen circumstances.

All keep in mind that Sony never let retail list all versions of an exclusive that would make it to India at once, preferring to stagger things out to test demand and this seems to be more of the same.

Given how well Horizon Zero Dawn sold in India through the PS4’s lifetime and Sony’s renewed focus with multiple PS5 restocks and prompt listings, we’d speculate that it’s likely that all versions of the game get an India release barring the Regalla Edition. Hopefully, this is indeed the case. For now though, if you want to pre-order the game on disc, your options are limited to the standard version.
