Holly Willoughby’s cryptic Instagram post ahead of This Morning return
This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, 42, took to her WYLDE MOON Instagram account this morning to share a somewhat cryptic post with her 179,000 followers.
It comes after ITV announced that the star would be making her return to This Morning tomorrow, following the backlash to a scandal involving her co-star Phillip Schofield, 61.
Phillip has admitted to having an affair with a much younger colleague while he was still married to his wife Stephanie Lowe.
His statement, where he apologised for lying about the “unwise, but not illegal” affair, came after reports of a growing rift between Holly and himself.
Holly will be appearing on the show for the first time since Phillip departed the programme last month, later resigning from ITV completely.

“All that glorious Saggi energy promises to create a cosmic extravaganza that’ll get your brain buzzing with excitement.”
ITV has confirmed that Josie Gibson will step in as a host on This Morning alongside Holly on tomorrow’s show.
The news was announced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary at the end of Friday’s programme.
On behalf of ITV, they said: “Holly Willoughby returns to This Morning on Monday June 5th and will co-present with members of the This Morning family, as confirmed in our 20th May statement.
“Josie Gibson will be hosting with Holly on Monday, as mentioned at the end of today’s show.”
Following Phillip’s affair admission, a statement from ITV read: “ITV can confirm that when rumours of a relationship between Phillip Schofield and an employee of ITV first began to circulate in early 2020 ITV investigated,” the statement said.
“Both parties were questioned and both categorically and repeatedly denied the rumours as did Phillip’s then agency, YMU. In addition, ITV spoke to a number of people who worked on This Morning and were not provided with, and did not find, any evidence of a relationship beyond hearsay and rumour.
“Phillip’s statement [on Friday] reveals that he lied to people at ITV, from senior management to fellow presenters, to YMU, to the media and to others over this relationship.”
This Morning will return tomorrow at 10am on ITV.
