Hogwarts Legacy Mod Lets you Customize the Camera and Even Play in First-Person View
A new Hogwarts Legacy mod was uploaded on Nexus Mods last Friday, enabling extensive camera customization within the game.
User YouYouTheBoxx based it on the latest experimental release of RE-UE4SS, a LUA scripting system and SDK editor for Unreal Engine games. To install this Hogwarts Legacy mod, you’ll need to get the XInput version of RE-UE4SS, since that’s the only compatible one.
Extract RE-UE4SS in the Hogwarts Legacy/Phoenix/Binaries/Win64/ folder. The next step is downloading the Blueprint Apparate Modloader tool, also available on NexusMods. Blueprint Apparate Modloader lets users add a menu that can be opened to load logic mods, and it is required for the in-game user interface of Customizable Cameras to work correctly.
After these two requirements, you’ll want to extract the actual Customizable Cameras mod inside the main Hogwarts Legacy folder. The Hogwarts Legacy mod should then enable you to tweak the camera any way you want, including going all the way to first-person view, which could be the most immersive way to experience the open world roleplaying game created by Avalanche Software.
The long awaited ‘Harry Potter triple-A RPG’ debuted to smashing success. Two weeks ago, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that Hogwarts Legacy became the best-selling title ever released by the publisher, selling over 12 million units in about fourteen days and bringing roughly $850 million in revenues. Sales are only going to get better with the release of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions, although the first two have just received a slight delay from their previously scheduled early April date. There are even rumors that a TV adaptation for HBO Max may be considered.
Meanwhile, the Hogwarts Legacy mod scene is literally thriving on PC. There’s nearly a thousand mods of all kinds, from visuals to performance to gameplay and quality of life, and you can check out our favorite ones in this article.
