Hitman 3 New Level & July Roadmap Revealed
IO Interactive has released the July roadmap for Hitman 3, with it comes a new sandbox level entitled Ambrose Island.
Ambrose Island will be released for free to all players on July 26. The island contains a pirate cove, home to a gang of pirates and to “many hidden secrets.” IO released a small trailer for the new location, which you can watch below.
Ambrose Island will be a full sandbox level, meaning a host of new assassination prospects and challenges will be included. More information on the upcoming location will be revealed closer to its release date.
“The tropical island is a hidden cove, home to a dangerous pirate syndicate operating in the Andaman Sea and to many hidden secrets. This fully explorable sandbox location is packed with new targets, gameplay opportunities, challenges and unlockable rewards.”
The free location for July is Bangkok, Hitman 3 and Free Starter Pack owners will be able to venture around the Himmapan Hotel until July 17.
The elusive target for the next week or so is Vicente Murillo, described as a “fan-favourite revolutionary”. For those unfamiliar, elusive targets are not marked on the map but rather IO gives the level the character is on and some general hints on where to find them. Murillo will be the target until July 18.
From July 15, the elusive target Wen Ts’ai will become available. This world-renowned food critic will be sampling food in the Himmapan Hotel, Bangkok until July 25.
The new elusive target arcades will arrive on July 14 and completing any of the batches will unlock the new iridescent katana weapon.
Featured contracts will also be making a return this month, this time with the theme “Bootleg & Buccaneers.” These are community-created contracts implemented by IO.
A game update is also arriving on July 26, which will fix some issues and implement some quality-of-life changes.
IO Interactive has continued to release roadmaps and new content for Hitman 3 ever since its release last year.
