Hilton Singapore Orchard Review
Rating: 5/5
For anyone who finds themselves dreaming of a hotel buffet, it probably looks a little like the one at the Singapore Orchard’s Estate restaurant.
Whether it’s nasi lemak, freshly cooked eggs benedict, pastries or fresh fruit that guests want to start the day, this buffet has it.
Even tourists staying for a week might not manage to try all the dishes on offer. Make sure not to miss the fresh juice station where hotel staff will whip up any wild concoction on the spot.
Estate also hosts dinner for guests looking for a buffet-style meal and yes, it’s just as lavish as breakfast.
Guests with a taste for Italian cuisine won’t want to miss Osteria Mozza, the hotel’s bistro-style restaurant. The only outpost of American chef Nancy Silverton’s celebrated brand, the Caesar salad served on a crisp crostini and whole branzino seasoned with lemon are definitely worth sampling.
At Chatterbox, guests can get their fill of traditional Singaporean cuisine including the restaurant’s famed mandarin chicken rice.
An afternoon tea at Gingerlily is a particularly special experience which takes guests on a flavour adventure. Must-tries include lobster rolls, Gingerlily jam and tutti frutti teacakes.
Gingerlily is also the spot for pre-dinner cocktails and make sure not to miss the Seashell, a unique creation with edible bubbles.
