Hideo Kojima Pays Respect to Late Icelandic Frontman Ryan Karazija of Low Roar and Death Stranding Fame

Popular game designer Hideo Kojima has paid tribute to Low Roar front man Ryan Karazija following his untimely demise a few days ago.

The Icelandic artist suffered from a short illness, and he passed away due to pneumonia complications at age 40. The news about Karazija’s death was made public by Low Roar through its Instagram account.

Karazija is mostly known for his work with the Icelandic alternative band, as its lead vocalist alongside Leifur Björnsson and Logi Guðmundsson. However, it’s the band’s partnership with Hideo Kojima that propelled Karazija into legendary status, as songs of the Low Roar were heavily featured in the soundtrack of Death Stranding.

Following the singer’s death, Kojima took to Twitter to express his shock towards the incident, with the director even explaining the importance of Karazija and the Low Roar’s songs in Death Stranding.

His studio Kojima Productions further posted a statement through its Twitter account to acknowledge the brilliant work done by the late singer on Death Stranding, as it proved vital to create the mood necessary for Kojima and his team to work the magic required to immerse users into the experience.
