The semi-finals for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent are here narrowing the search down for the top act even further.

Last night (May 29) saw eight acts take to the stage in the hopes of impressing the judging panel, but more importantly, the viewers at home, as only their votes can send them through.

Two acts came out victorious, giving viewers their first finalists for the 2023 show and the first acts in with a chance of winning the £250,000 grand prize and a spot at the Royal Variety Performance.

This year’s show has had it all, from mind-blowing dance troupes to spell-binding singers, comedians, and even some daredevil stunts that left the judges watching through their fingers.

But who will make it out on top? Here are the finalists for Britain’s Got Talent 2023.

Who are Britain’s Got Talent 2023 finalists?

Musa Motha

Dance act Musa Motha had the judges in tears once again during the first semi-finals as her stellar performance landed her a place in the final.

Musa, an amputee who lost their leg aged 10, received the show’s first joint golden buzzer after all four of the judges couldn’t help but send him straight to the semi-finals.

And during them, the South African native impressed once more, leading Alesha Dixon to declare he was ‘the one to beat’ and receiving a special shoutout from Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.

They won the public vote and went straight through during the semi-final.

On the news they would be competing during the BGT final, he said: ‘I feel excited and blessed and I thank everyone for the support.’

Amy Lou

New mother Amy Lou became the show’s second finalist for 2023 after going through the first semi-final episode.

Amy and fellow singer Abi Carter-Simpson made it to the top three alongside Musa Motha, who won the public vote.

It was then up to the judges to decide who would fill the second slot, with Bruno Tonioli and Amanda Holden choosing Amy Lou, and Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell opting for Abi.

So, the hosts reverted to the public vote, which sent Amy Lou through.

The Midlands singer blew everyone away with her emotional first audition and gave birth just six weeks before the semi-finals.

The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals continue all this week on ITV1 and ITVX.
