Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has celebrated ‘the most beautiful day’ on Instagram after he married his girlfriend last week.
Henderson married his partner on Saturday, June 18 at a ceremony which was attended by plenty of the couple’s friends and family. The wedding in Rome saw the happy couple serenaded by none other than Brit award winner Lewis Capaldi.
Capaldi, who is the second cousin once removed of former Doctor Who star Peter, performed for Henderson, his new wife and their guests under the stars in Italy. Taking to Instagram, Henderson wrote: “18/06/22, the most beautiful day with my love.”

United’s second choice goalkeeper is currently on honeymoon with his new wife but once back in the United Kingdom is expected to join Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season. The newly-promoted side have made the move for the former Sheffield United loanee following the uncertainty surrounding their current ‘keeper Brice Samba.
Last season, United’s James Garner spent the season on loan at the City Ground where he enjoyed a successful spell. His sublime performance at Wembley Stadium back in May saw the East Midlands club promoted to the Premier League.
