Hema Malini beats the Mumbai traffic as she takes the Metro

On Tuesday, commuters were caught off guard when  actress and politician Hema Malini was spotted using the Mumbai Metro. The actress tweeted that it took her two hours to drive from Mumbai to Dahisar, a suburb. She described the trip as “tiring,” but she stated that she changed her mind and decided to use the Metro, arriving at her destination in about 30 minutes.

Hema Malini posted numerous images and videos documenting her most recent Metro trip.

“I must share with all of you my unique, wonderful experience. Drove 2 hours to reach Dahisar by car, so tiring! In the eve decided I would try the metro, and OMG! What a joy it was! True, we went through tough times during the constr, but worth it! Clean, fast & ws in Juhu in 1/2 hr,” she shared on her Instagram.

“’After my metro experience, decided to go by auto from DN Nagar to Juhu & that too was fulfilled. Landed by auto at my house & the dazed security could not believe their eyes! All in all, a wonderful, pleasurable experience for me! In the metro with the public,” she shared in a second post.

The actor-politician, who was clad in a pink blouse and white trousers, was seen in the video exchanging selfies with other riders inside the Mumbai Metro.

She also took ab auto after her Metro experience. She rode the bus from DN Nagar to Juhu, claiming that the security personnel were "dazed" when she arrived at her residence.
