Helen Skelton ‘puts home up for sale’ as she moves on after marriage split

Helen Skelton has reportedly put their family home up for sale and is said to be looking for a new place to move in with her three children.

According to reports, Helen, 39, wants a “clean slate” as she moves on from her marriage split.

The Countryfile presenter is claimed to be putting her marital home on the market.

“Helen has moved on with her life and feels it’s time to start with a clean slate,” a source told the Sunday Mirror.

“She’s put the house they shared on the market and is looking for a new place she can move to with the kids in the coming months.”

Express.co.uk has contacted Helen Sketon’s representatives for comment.

The Strictly Come Dancing star and her former husband Richie Myler had been married for eight years and the couple share three children together.

Helen and her three children moved back in with her parents, in Cumbria, following their break-up.

Speaking to The Telegraph in October, Helen said she has left Leeds and moved to her parents’ home in the Lake District.

The star said: “I can get up in my pyjamas, pull my boots on, pull my dad’s coat on, walk across the fields with the dog and what a joyous way to start the day.”

Months later she appeared on Celebrity Yorkshire Auction House and announced that she had sold “a load of stuff”.

Helen sold off an antique vaulting horse that was given to her and Richie as a present at their December 2013 wedding, according to reports.

The mum was also happy to ditch two Art Deco armchairs and a Victorian dentist chair.

Speaking on the show, Helen said: “This is a great opportunity to get rid of a load of stuff.”

Meanwhile, the presenter shared a new photo of her youngest daughter Elsie.

The toddler looked adorable as she attempted to climb up on a chest of drawers.

Helen captioned the post: “Sums. Her. Up. Pray for Kevin.”
