Helen Flanagan breaks down in car and says she’s ‘bad’ at being alone
Helen Flanagan spoke candidly about her difficult week as the former Coronation Street actress declared she “doesn’t know what’s wrong with her”.
The mum-of-three is set to appear in I’m A Celebrity… South Africa on Monday, but today took to Instagram to share her woes.
In a candid black and white photo, Helen, 32, could be seen with her head in her hands as she shared her troubles with her one million followers.
She captioned the post: “Broke down in my car last night with Charlie, so annoying.”
In a video shared today, Helen went on to explain what happened while holding her two-year-old son Charlie, who she shares with footballer Scott Sinclair.

She began: “I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
“I broke down yesterday because I had a flat tyre. Then I woke up this morning… I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I totally forgot, I was thinking ‘let’s go to nursery’ and I was going to see my friend.
“But then I was like ‘Helen, how could you forget? You broke down yesterday’, so we’re just waiting for a taxi.”
Helen reportedly split from her partner and the father of their three children, Scott, last year.
The actress recently sparked rumours of a reconciliation after she flashed her engagement ring during a break to Dubai.
While neither Scott nor Helen addressed the reports, but the latter shared on the picture-sharing site she has been struggling with being on her own.
She penned: “I’m really bad at being on my own. I constantly have to have my friends with me or be with my kids. I just can’t sit there with me and my own thoughts.”
Meanwhile, the TV star is due to return to viewer’s screens eleven years after Helen made her jungle debut on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Speaking about her return to the ITV show, she said: “It’s going to be different. I was only 22 back then and I am 32 now. I have grown up a lot and I’ve had three children and I’ve gone through three labours!
“I won’t not finish the trials because my mindset will be very different this time around.”
Helen added: “When I went in the jungle the first time, I didn’t prepare at all. I didn’t have a clue what I had let myself in for and I cried even when my phone got taken off me after landing in Australia. I want to make my children proud when I take part this time.”
I’m A Celebrity… South Africa returns to ITV1 on April 24 at 9pm.
