Helen Flanagan begs ‘get me off this plane’ during ‘horrendous’ flight

Helen Flanagan’s kids had a meltdown on board a homeward-bound flight from Dubai, while the dishevelled and miserable ex-Corrie star held back tears and covered her face with her hands.

The ITV legend, who has regularly shared her children’s tantrums with her Instagram followers in the past, looked especially fed up today, as she admitted the plane had encountered turbulence.

“Get me off this plane and get me a glass of wine!” she demanded, looking drained and tearful as the Evanescence song ‘Bring Me To Life’ played in the background.

The track features lyrics about being “saved”, which seemed to fit a frazzled-looking Helen’s situation as she planted a sympathetic kiss on son Charlie’s cheek.

She admitted to her one million followers afterwards she had been “pulling her hair out” due to the “awful” flight, which was delayed.

Yesterday, she elaborated on her struggles, explaining: “Checking in was horrendous, I had so much stuff with me and Charlie just screamed, threw himself on the floor.”

Helen also believed at one point she’d lost “all” of the iPads she’d taken with her, as well as her much-needed phone, so was “not happy at all”.

She described the flight as “horrendous”, revealing delays meant they hadn’t been able to take off at the scheduled time either.

This afternoon, however, she seemed to have put the nightmarish experience behind her as she cuddled a fluffy miniature pet to the tune of Nicole Scherzinger’s Baby Love.

She added she adored all of her children Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and baby of the family Charlie, one.

Meanwhile, Helen has another potential cause for celebration, after she appeared to show off her engagement ring earlier in the week.

She and fiancé Scott Sinclair had previously split, but the pair have been enjoying time together in Dubai as a family this week and Helen has since started to show off her sparkler again.

Dubai has a multitude of memories for the family, and she regularly returned to her favourite hotel over the years on every single “baby moon” she’s ever been on.

Previously sharing snaps from the Royal Meridien hotel, she explained: “[I’ve] stayed at this hotel since I’ve been 19 and I have the best memories here x My kids have been here since babies and all know it so well.”

“I’ve had all my baby moon breaks here, my gender reveal with Delilah, New Years etc it really is a home from home for me x.”
