After shutting down rumors that she and Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero had separated, Heart Evangelista gave fans a glimpse of her vacation in Japan, where she bonded with her stepchildren.

The actress walked the streets of Japan and ate at a Japanese restaurant with her stepkids, Quino and Chesi, as seen on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan. 3.

“My favorite part,” she said, along with chopsticks and sushi emoji.

Meanwhile, Escudero is noticeably absent from the photos shown by Evangelista.

Separation rumors about Evangelista and Escudero circulated online around August last year, when netizens noticed that Evangelista had removed the Escudero surname from her Instagram profile.

The actress admitted in September 2022 that she was dealing with “personal struggles,” then revealed a month later that she was planning on staying abroad “indefinitely” amid her various work commitments.

Evangelista finally broke her silence on split rumors with Escudero in December, when she told the senator she would “see [him] soon” after her stay in Paris. The couple was then seen celebrating New Year’s Eve together.

Evangelista and Escudero tied the knot in an exclusive ceremony in Balesin in February 2015, after being in a relationship for two years.  /ra
