NEW DELHI: The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) results for 2022 have been announced on December 19, 2022.
Candidates, who took the Haryana TET examination 2022, can check and download their results online on the official website – haryanatet.in. Candidates can check their results through candidate login using their roll number and password.
The HTET exam was held on December 3 and 4, 2022, and the tentative answer key was released on December 5, 2022, on the official site. Candidates were given time till December 7, 2022, to raise objections if any.
About HTET 2022
The Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) is a test conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teacher in schools located in the state of Haryana. The HTET consists of three levels:
Level 1: This exam is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5.
Level 2: This exam is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 6 to 8.
Level 3: This exam is for candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 9 to 12.
To be eligible to appear for the HTET, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed.) or its equivalent and must have completed a minimum of 50% marks in their degree. Candidates must also have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The HTET is conducted once a year, and the exam consists of multiple-choice questions in the subjects of child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2, mathematics, environmental studies, and social studies/science. The exam is conducted in both English and Hindi. The duration of the exam is 3 hours, and the total number of questions is 150.
Candidates who pass the HTET are eligible to apply for teaching jobs in Haryana schools. The validity of the HTET certificate is for a lifetime from the date of the exam.
