Harry Styles thanks London fans after one of of his favourite ever shows
Harry Styles said he was ‘completely overwhelmed’ by the crowd at Wembley Stadium on Saturday (June 18) admitting it was one of his favourite shows of all time. The former One Direction member performed to sell out crowds of 90,000 on Saturday and Sunday (June 18 and 19).
Fans were delighted with the performance after waiting for so long with the tour rescheduled due to Covid-19. It seems Harry was equally stunned as he took to Twitter to express his appreciation following Saturday’s show.
The Watermelon Sugar singer tweeted: “Wembley, last night was one of my favourite shows we’ve ever played. I don’t know where to begin thanking you, I’m completely overwhelmed. I’m so grateful, I’m so happy. Thank you, thank you. I love you all. See you later. H.”

Despite a bit of rain, the night looked like a roaring sucess. One touching clip from the show has been shared by fans on social media, and is sure to leave you with a lump in your throat. Twitter user @courterz_ shared a video of a British Sign Language performer signing along with Harry’s songs.
She wrote: “So tonight @wembleystadium supplied a BSL signer for @Harry_Styles. My sister is profoundly deaf and this made her night… so much so she cried! Honestly such a moment for live music and deaf people! #harrystyles ”
Harry was once part of boy band One Direction which rocketed to fame in 2010 on The X Factor. Each of the five members originally auditioned by themselves, but were then advised to bring their talents together. The famous pop band broke up in 2015, though Harry’s solo career has gone from strength to strength.
