Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright pregnant with first child

Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright, 32, has announced she is expecting her first child with husband Andrew Lococo.

The star took to Instagram this afternoon to reveal her blossoming baby bump, as she shares some sweet pregnancy snaps with her 3.9 million followers.

The pictures showed the mum-to-be posing in a beautiful field filled with purple flowers with a stunning mountainous backdrop.

She captioned the gorgeous snap: “We’re having a baby! So excited to share this beautiful land with them.

“What a wild and humbling journey pregnancy is, transforming to make space for new life.

Bonnie is best known for portraying Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise, which is based on the popular book series by author J.K. Rowling.

The actress made her professional debut back in 2001 in the first movie of the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and went on to star in the role across all eight films.

After the epic series ended a decade later with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011, Bonnie went on to appear in a number of independent films, including Before I Sleep, The Sea and After the Dark.

Bonnie married her husband Andrew in March 2022, officially revealing the news to fans on Instagram.

Fans and friends took to the comments section to congratulate the star, including The Boys actress Erin Moriarty, who wrote: “Love you both so much @locococococococococo.” (sic)

Meanwhile her onscreen brother James Phelps, who played Fred Weasley in the Harry Potter films, wished her “Congratulations”.
