Harry and Meghan should ‘avoid’ King’s Coronation says Apprentice star
Ryan-Mark Parsons has also addressed King Charles’s decision to ask Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to vacate Frogmore Cottage. It comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s attendance at the coronation still hang in the balance.
It’s not yet known whether Harry and Meghan will be part of the 2,000-strong congregation at Westminster Abbey, but they have been given an official invite.
Despite being the grandchildren of the new King, it is believed that Archie and Lilibet have not been invited, with sources citing that the children are “very young”.
If they do choose to attend, Ryan-Mark has claimed the Sussexes should not take to the balcony, adding he didn’t think the couple should attend.
“I don’t think they should get invited to the King’s Coronation,” he commented. “I really hope they are not included. They’ll turn up and it’s a shame.”

The Apprentice star continued: “It’s supposed to be a celebration of King Charles and the monarchy in general and their presence will just become very distracting, especially if they go on the balcony.
“It just politicises what should be a fun event. Like the Jubilee it’s a time when everyone comes together, there will be street parties, and things going on in Central London.
“[Harry and Meghan] being there will bring a lot of media attention and there will be examinations on how Kate Middleton and Prince William will be interacting with them.”
He added: “It takes away from the fun and the jubilation of a Coronation. I think they should avoid it. I don’t think the country wants them here.”
Ryan-Mark, who took part in The Apprentice in 2019, went on to praise King Charles’s decision to have the Sussexes vacate Frogmore Cottage.
He said: “Charles was right to evict them. They are no longer working royals.
“They have their titles but they are very much living an independent life away from the institution, the work and the responsibilities. So why would they be entitled to the cottage?”
Ryan-Mark added: “They’re not really a part of the family like they were before.”
A spokesperson for the couple previously said in a statement: “We can confirm the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”
Harry and Meghan live with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in Montecito, California.
The King’s decision to evict the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage comes after the release of Harry’s controversial memoir, Spare.
The Duke of Sussex is said to be “seeking an apology” from the King before making any commitments to the coronation.
Harry said in an interview with ITV before the release of his book that the “ball is in their court”, but the “door is always open” for reconciliation.
