We love hearing about new approaches to skincare but CBD and actual mushrooms is a new one – with this anti-ageing cream attempting to change the game.
The cream from Cannabotech – and on offer right now – contains a combination of functional mushrooms (basically mushrooms with health benefits, apparently) and CBD oil.
The antioxidant-rich funghi, according to the brand, helps tackle ageing skin issues, while the CBD oil has a calming effect, reducing redness and irritation, so great for anyone with sensitive skin.
The company, which claims to be the first to combine the two ingredients in skincare, says its ‘pioneering’ products were launched after 10 years of scientific research.
But does its anti-ageing cream work? The reviews online are positive, as we scroll through, with one person saying they’d seen a ‘definite tightness’ in the skin after using the cream.
Another happy shopper wrote: ‘Absolutely lovely – this cream easily sinks into the skin and leaves me feel fresh and glowing.’

CBD oil and functional mushrooms have been creating a bit of a buzz in the skincare world in recent years.
CBD is best known for its calming properties, but some research suggests it can also help protect cells from oxidative stress, a major cause of wrinkles.
Functional mushrooms, meanwhile, offer a range of benefits depending on the type used.
Cannabotech’s Anti-ageing Cream contains snow fungus, said to be a natural collagen booster that also draws moisture into the skin, shaggy mane, which boasts a potent mix of antioxidants, shiitake, also full of antioxidants plus calming properties, and reishi, known for its skin-rejuvenating benefits.
The brand also offers a range of CBD and mushroom blend oils, balms and supplements.
