Happn launches new CrushPoints feature: All you need to know – Times of India

French dating app Happn, which launched in India in 2017, has introduced a new feature ‘CrushPoints’. The feature will help users to connect not just through chance encounters but also through their favourite places.

CrushPoints enables happners to meet singles who like and go to the same places as them. CrushPoints feature will be available in 18 countries and over 40 cities, which include local Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune.
CrushPoints: How it works
Happn tracks users based on their geolocation, allowing every person to find all the people they have crossed paths with. It will allow singles to add to their profile a selection of favourite places, divided into 6 categories: events, bars, restaurants, sports, culture and outdoors. They can then learn about their Crushes’ favourite places and find a place they both like to meet.
Users will be able to find places either on other users’ profiles or on the Map. By browsing the Map, they can explore different locations and find singles who have favourited them, thus discovering people with shared interests. This feature will also help to create a real community of happners: places will be recommended by other singles and will be certified by happners as trusted places to arrange to meet someone for the first time.
In addition to launching the new feature, happn has also revealed a new logo and redesigned the app interface. This brand lift is based on a black and white colour scheme that highlights each person’s paths with bright colours associated with different moments in life, types of places or activities.
