ILKAY GUNDOGAN’S wife Sara Arfaoui has posted a heartfelt goodbye to Manchester, just eight months after slamming the city’s “horrible” restaurant scene.
Italian TV presenter Sara slammed the “frozen” cuisine on offer on her Instagram story back in October.

Sara, 28, blasted: “I tried so bad to find a good restaurant but horrible food everywhere. Can’t find a real Italian or good sushi or just fresh food . . . everywhere frozen…
“Restaurants here are focused on making money with drinks and shots like night clubs, not quality food.”
The model concluded: “Maybe in London but in Manchester nothing. I’m sorry.”
However, following her scorning review, Sara was full of praise for the City as her time there with Gundogan drew to an end.
Writing on Instagram, she said: “I can’t say much just because I’m not realising what is happening.
“All I can say is thank you Manchester for giving us all this love and thank you to our friends. I will miss my City family.
“I arrived in Manchester without expectations and I leave as a wife, a mum and with the greatest friends we could wish for.
“I did follow City everywhere, dreaming of winning the Champions League, but what happened was more than I dreamed of. I will keep everyone in my heart.

Gundogan, 32, was announced as a new Barcelona player yesterday after seven years at the club.
His exploits under Pep Guardiola saw him win five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and the Champions League, with his final season yielding a historic continental Treble.
Barcelona fans thanked Sara after it emerged she had been calling on City to sign Gundogan to head to the Nou Camp “for years”, causing him to snub a move to Arsenal.
