Gujarat HSC Science Result 2023 declared on gseb.org – Times of India

Reported by Bharat Yagnik, Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Thursday declared 65.58% HSC science stream result which was the 6.64% lower result as compared to 2022. In 2022 72.02% students cleared their examination.
In 20213 a total of 1,10,042 regular students appeared out of 72,166 students who appeared for the class 12th (science) examination were declared pass by the board. Students in A group with Mathematics posted 72.27% result while the result of B group students with biology was 61.71%.
The boys have outnumbered the girls and have performed this time. The pass out percentage of the boys was slightly more than that of the girls. While the pass out percentage was 64.66 % for the girls, it was 66.32% for the boys.
English-medium students once again fared better than their Gujarati medium counterparts posting 67.18% pass out percentage. The same for Gujarati medium was 65.32%.
Out of nearly 140 centres where the examination was conducted, the result of Halwad was the highest at 90.14% while that of Limkheda was the lowest with 22%. Among districts, Rajkot secured the highest pass percentage at 83.22% per cent while tribal-dominated Dahod district recorded the lowest percentage at 29.44. This was the second third consecutive year that Rajkot district had posted the highest pass out percentage while Dahod has the lowest result.
A total of 27 schools recorded 100 percent results this year. The number of schools securing 10 per cent or lower pass percentage also increased to 76 compared to 61 in 2022, the GSEB said.
