Gujarat Board Exams 2023: School principals to manage board examination centres – Times of India

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Wednesday issued a circular ordering that the school principal of the school which is selected for the board’s final examination will manage the centre. Class 10, 12 final exams will be conducted from March 14 to 29 across the state.
The circular says that if the school has been selected as an examination centre for Class 10 as well as Class 12 final exams then the senior teacher will be responsible for managing one of the centers.
The circular says that the principal or the senior teacher will have to give in writing that none of the relatives are taking exams at their school. If any relative is taking an exam in the same centre then the principals and senior teachers of such schools will be given duty at other examination centres.
The circular says that the principal or the senior teacher will have to appoint teachers and other staff on examination duty. The principal or the teacher who has been given the duty to manage the examination centres will have to ensure that the exams are conducted smoothly and no irregularities are committed. The board has instructed all principals to get approval from the district education officer for this duty.
